How would you describe your role as a Senator for the College of ECC?
First and foremost I view this position as a connection between the students of ECC and AS student government. This connection would involve communication of events, scholarships, and funding for the clubs and students of ECC.
What do YOU bring to the table in your role as a Senator for the College of ECC?
I bring a passion for engineering, coupled with my experience of five years at CSU, Chico to hopefully make informed decisions that will benefit students.
What current projects are you working on to better your College?
I am working on communicating what AS Government does and the tools they can offer to clubs in my college. For example, how to secure funding for student projects.
What legacy would you like to leave for the next set of elected Senators?
Making an honest effort to represent my colleges’ true voice in AS Government.
How do you see this position developing next year?
I would love to see this position stay open to interpretation for the next elected Senator. I enjoyed the ability to make this position my own, and I am looking forward to seeing what the next person does!
