Hi!!! My name is Mak­e­na Ford and I use she/​her pro­nouns. It’s my third year here at Chico State and I’m a child devel­op­ment major hop­ing to work with ele­men­tary lev­el kids in the future as a teacher or coun­selor. In my free time I enjoy watch­ing tv and movies, lis­ten­ing to music, jour­nal­ing and col­lect­ing vinyl records. Fun fact: I have seen every episode of ​“Sat­ur­day Night Live” to date.

My name is Ellie Cis­neros; I go by she/​her pro­nouns. I was born in San Bernardi­no and will always be a SoCal girl. My major is Lib­er­al Stud­ies with a minor in Math ED. I plan to become an ele­men­tary school teacher (hope­ful­ly Kinder­garten). Some of my favorite things to do are hang­ing out with friends and going shop­ping. I hope I will be able to help stu­dents make Chico State feel like home.

I’m from Cres­cent City, CA. I’m a proud Cat mom, her name is Shad­ow. I love to trav­el, jour­nal, and lis­ten to pod­casts. I also enjoy going to con­certs and watch­ing sports. I’m grate­ful to be a First-Year Lead­er­ship Oppor­tu­ni­ty Facil­i­ta­tor this year. I’m excit­ed to guide you through your first year at Chico State in find­ing resources on cam­pus and your home away from home. Being a part of FLO pre­vi­ous­ly was the best deci­sion I made. Hey every­one! My name is Ash­ley and I use she/​her pro­nouns. I am a first-gen­er­a­tion col­lege stu­dent major­ing in Eng­lish Edu­ca­tion and Inter­sec­tion­al Chicanx/​Latin Stud­ies, hop­ing to become a high school teacher. Apart from the First-Year Lead­er­ship Oppor­tu­ni­ty, I am also an Advis­ing Intern in the Aca­d­e­m­ic Advis­ing Pro­grams. I am very hap­py to be a source of guid­ance for you all and would love to help with any ques­tions you may have. Hel­lo every­one! My name is Lola Ren­froe and I go by she/​her/​ella pro­nouns. I’m a sec­ond-year stu­dent here at Chico State and I’m proud to say that I’m an Exer­cise Phys­i­ol­o­gy major! I hope to one day be a Pedi­atric Chi­ro­prac­tor. I am from Temec­u­la, Cal­i­for­nia and my favorite things to do back home is play with my dogs and tur­tle, go to Old Town Temec­u­la, and go thrift shop­ping. First Year Lead­er­ship Oppor­tu­ni­ty (FLO) was one of the best deci­sions I made last year as a fresh­man. I am beyond excit­ed to meet you all and make Chico State feel like a home away from home.
