AS Marketing & Design

AS Marketing & Design department is responsible for the centralized marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts for the Associated Students of CSU, Chico, including all programs, services and business enterprises. AS Marketing also offers advertising services for all campus affiliated clubs and organizations, including advertising space on the BMU marquee and screens in the Bell Memorial Union, the Wildcat Recreation Center and Sutter Dining.

In order to best serve every area, please submit your requests as soon as possible. If you are planning a large scale event with a comprehensive marketing plan that includes (but is not limited to) social media, graphic design AND advertising requests, please email asmarketing@csuchico.edu to schedule a marketing meeting with the Marketing & PR Coordinator. These are best scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance to your event.

NOTE: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR EVENT, MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW UP AND CANCEL ALL REQUESTS.


Social Media Requests

Social media requests should be submitted 1 week in advance of desired posting date. In general, you should advertise your event for at least 10 days prior to the event date. The earlier you submit your marketing request, the better. All requests will be posted on Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook unless specifically requested otherwise. If you are providing an image for use in the post, please include in your social media request.

ATTN: Any pre-designed materials, including Instagram story requests, will be returned or denied if the content is not appropriate/correct. Instagram story requests for important announcements, etc. CAN be submitted on short notice under certain circumstances, and should be submitted in 1080 px X 1920 px format.

After your request has been submitted you will only receive a response from AS Marketing if we have questions or need more information.


Graphic Design Requests

Graphic design requests should be submitted 2 weeks prior to desired date to begin promotions. In general, you should advertise your event for at least 10 days prior to the event date. The earlier you submit your marketing request, the better.


Website Content Requests

All website update requests should be submitted to asmarketing@csuchico.edu, and will be attended to within 48 hours. Please be as detailed as possible when submitting your website request so that your changes can be made in a timely manner.
