Adventure Outings Program Coordinator: Keith Crawford

AO15_Web_KeithCrawford_ZekeKeith has a B.S. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management and an M.A. in College Student Development. He spent 7 years working for the North Carolina Outward Bound School and also briefly instructed for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Keith is a certified Swiftwater Rescue instructor, Leave No Trace Master Educator, and Wilderness First Responder. In his free time he enjoys spending time outside (obviously), running with his dog Zeke, volunteering with Butte County Search and Rescue and watching Carolina Panthers football.

Adventure Outings Operations Coordinator: Tom Hamm

Tom began working in the outdoors during his time as an undergraduate student at Loyola University Maryland, in Baltimore. Having experienced a rock climbing expedition as his orientation to college, he decided that he wanted to be a part of the outdoor and experiential education program. He spent his time at Loyola, under the tutelage of former Outward Bound instructors, delivering outdoor expeditions for the community.

In 2015 Tom began a career as an instructor at the Baltimore Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound School. Through his time at Outward Bound, he has become committed to experiential and expeditionary learning. Tom believes that outdoor education is the cornerstone to an influential and meaningful education for all students, regardless of their backgrounds.

In his free time, Tom loves biking, kayaking, rock climbing, seeing new places, and fermenting foods.
