Event Funding Opportunities for Student Organizations
With the Associated Students, student clubs and organizations who are recognized by the University can apply for funding for events. The Events and Diversity Programming Allocation Council is chaired by the AS Commissioner of Student Organizations and Resources. This council allocates funds for on-campus events up to $4,000 per event for purposes such as: conferences, guest speakers, philanthropy projects, and musical performances. EDPAC is open to proposals for all kinds of events campus-wide and would love to hear about yours!
In order to receive this funding, a member who is approved to do business on behalf of your student organization will fill out a proposal packet which you can find HERE. Once completed, the proposal packet can be submitted to Sarah Fenton by email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The approval process consists of giving a brief presentation to the Events and Diversity Programming Allocation Council (EDPAC). Once approved there, it will be presented by the Commissioner at the Government Affairs Committee (GAC) and then Board of Directors (BOD) for final approval.
If you have any further questions about the application for event funding or approval process, please contact the chair of EDPAC, Edgar Hernandez, at email@example.com
