Event Funding for Clubs

Event Funding Opportunities for Student Organizations

There are two ways that recognized student organizations can apply for event funding. For your proposal to be considered for Fall 2019, please visit the Government Affairs Office in BMU 220 to get more information.

1. Event Funding Allocation Council (EFAC): Funding available for a broad variety of events.

Student Organizations and Resources Commissioner: Sydney Puccetti, Ask to speak with the Commissioner when calling.

2. Diversity Affairs Council (DAC): Funding available for cultural and diverse events.
Diversity Affairs Commissioner: Emonnie Jones, Ask to speak with the Commissioner when calling.

In order to receive this funding the student group will need to meet with the commissioner listed above. At this meeting the commissioner will go over the process for funding. The process includes the completion of a funding proposal (sample proposal) and presentation to the council.

Prior to meeting with the commissioner, read over the sample proposal, paying special attention to the narrative section. Make sure that you are prepared to discuss these items and the impact of your event for CSU, Chico students.
