Event Funding Opportunities for Student Organizations

With the Associated Students, student clubs and organizations who are recognized by the University can apply for funding for events. The Events and Diversity Programming Allocation Council is chaired by the AS Commissioner of Student Organizations and Resources. This council allocates funds for on-campus events up to $4,000 per event for purposes such as: conferences, guest speakers, philanthropy projects, and musical performances. EDPAC is open to proposals for all kinds of events campus-wide and would love to hear about yours!

In order to receive this funding the student group will need to meet with the AS Commissioner of Student Organizations and Resources. At this meeting the commissioner will go over the process for funding. The process includes the completion of a funding proposal (sample proposal) and presentation to the council.

Prior to meeting with the commissioner, read over the sample proposal, paying special attention to the narrative section. Make sure that you are prepared to discuss these items and the impact of your event for CSU, Chico students. For more information, please contact the chair HERE.
