College of Agriculture, Senator
Rancho Cordova, CA | Agricultural Science and Education
What’s up Wildcats! My name is Tyler Jenkins (He/ Him/ His) and I am a fourth year Agricultural Science & Education major from a small town near Sacramento; Rancho Cordova, California. I plan to pursue a masters degree in Organizational Leadership or Agriculture Communications in hopes to work in Higher Education/ Student Affairs or for the National FFA Organization. The Collegiate FFA Club, Connection Course Program, Summer Orientation & the Interfraternity Council represent a majority of my involvement on campus so far and I’m excited to bring my leadership & resiliency to the Student Academic Senate. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the College of Agriculture thus far and can’t wait to help safely resocialize our students this year and support extracurricular involvement like never before! I plan to work on embracing equity & enhancing academic collaboration in the College of Agriculture while working to serve as a transparent and approachable voice for all Wildcats during my time on the Student Academic Senate. As a first-generation, LGBTQIA+ student, this position and opportunity mean so much to me and I cannot wait to work with y’all and to continue representing your voices! Change & progress start now, thank you for your support.
