For all you people out there who love climbing or barely climb at all, this competition is just a fun way to get us all together and have some friendly competition. Don’t worry if you’re not that experienced, we have skill categories for all levels, so please take a moment and refer to this chart to see where you fit in:

Intermediate (Int)

If you have never climbed a V5 or above

If you have never climbed a 5.11a or above

Advanced (Adv)

If you have climbed at least one V5 or above

If you have climbed at least one 5.11a or above

Men’s and Women’s categories for all levels.

Format & Scoring:

Each route has an allotted point value; the harder the route, the more points you receive. The more attempts you make on a route, the less points you will receive. But keep in mind, each route has a base limit of point value, so no matter how many attempts you make on a route, you will only have point reductions down to the base value. You also can only score each route once, so once you complete the route, move onto the next one. See the score sheet of the point allocation down below for more details.

The One-Day Bouldering Event on April 23rd will be scored upon your top 4 boulder problems of the night. The boulder problems available for climbing during this competition will be 28 brand new routes set specifically for this competition. The routes will be numbered 1 through 28, which will be seen on the score sheet upon arrival. There will also be an awesome bonus challenge to get you a few extra points for this one-day event.
