We don't like to brag...but we're going to do it today: Adventure Outings recently received the Point of Pride award in the area of student success and retention from the Division of Student Affairs!
Our Get Outdoors Fund, which provides scholarships for students that could not otherwise afford to go on our trips, received special recognition for engaging students of all backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses in outdoor adventures. The connections developed through this program have helped students succeed and contribute to student retention. The Bike Cart received a specific focus in this award, as funds generated from the bike auctions primarily fund GOF. The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour also contributes greatly to this Fund through its prize drawings.
