The Third Floor Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of the Bell Memorial Union, is a student exhibition space designed to allow student artists to experience the joys of showcasing their work.
PROPOSALS FOR SPRING 2025 NOW CLOSED
The Third Floor Gallery seeks proposals for visual art exhibitions and projects to take place during each semester. Artists are encouraged to submit individual, group, or thematic projects including (but not limited to) paintings, sculptures, photography, and video exhibitions. The Gallery accepts proposals from all Chico State student artists.
As part of our Third Floor Gallery offerings, student artists get to experience the excitement of hosting their own gallery showing, complete with catered reception, full-service marketing campaign, and more.
We are no longer accepting proposals for Spring 2025. Please check back during the spring semester for fall 2025 proposal information.

We are the only Chico State art gallery to exclusively show student work. All types of art are welcome and you don’t have to be an art major to apply.
The gallery features:
- Four shows each semester: Gallery shows are chosen the previous semester by a committee of students, staff, and faculty.
- The AS provides publicity for your show: social media promotion, postcards, and posters.
- The AS hosts a professionally catered reception in the gallery for each artist or group of artists.
