Program Description
CAVE’s Weekend Wildcat program provides one-time volunteer opportunities for Chico State Students to work with a variety of local agencies. If you have limited availability, Weekend Wildcat events are the perfect way to give back to your community. You can volunteer as an individual or register members of your club or organization individually.
Location of Program:
Varies each Weekend Wildcat but typically on campus or walking distance.
Days/Times:
Most Weekend Wildcats run from 10am-1pm on Saturday’s. Events with different days and start/end times will be listed next to the event on the list below. Our Fall 2024 Weekend Wildcats will be:
- Saturday, October 5 – Esplanade House: site beautification
- Saturday, October 26 – Make-a-Difference Day: Multiple Locations & Projects
- Saturday, November 2 – Divine Sunday Market: Chico Day of the Dead Festival
- Saturday, November 9 – Habitat for Humanity: House build in Paradise
- Sunday, November 24 – Downtown Chico Business Association: Christmas Preview Event Support
- Tuesday, December 3 – Salvation Army: Food Distribution (2-4pm)
- Sunday, December 8 – Paradise Recreation & Parks District: Composting Project
