Program Description
Weekend Wildcats are one-time volunteer events designed for Chico State students looking to make an impact with limited availability. These projects partner with a variety of local agencies and offer an easy, meaningful way to get involved. Students can sign up individually or members of clubs and organizations can register on their own to participate together.
Location of Program:
Varies each Weekend Wildcat but typically on campus or walking distance.
Days/Times:
Most Weekend Wildcats run from 10am-1pm on Saturday’s. Events with different days and start/end times will be listed next to the event on the list below. Our Fall 2025 Weekend Wildcats will be:
- Saturday, September 27 with Chico Creek Nature Center
- Saturday, October 11 with CHIP
- Saturday, October 25 - Make-a-Difference Day
- Saturday, November 1 with Divine Sunday Markets
- Saturday, November 22 with Gateway Science Museum
- Saturday & Sunday, December 6 & 7 with Chico Area Recreation & Parks District

experiences for students. If you're interested in hosting a future Weekend Wildcat:
