Weekend Wildcat

Program Description
Weekend Wildcats are one-time volunteer events designed for Chico State students looking to make an impact with limited availability. These projects partner with a variety of local agencies and offer an easy, meaningful way to get involved. Students can sign up individually or members of clubs and organizations can register on their own to participate together. 

Location of Program:
Varies each Weekend Wildcat but typically on campus or walking distance.

Days/Times:
Most Weekend Wildcats run from 10am-1pm on Saturday’s. Full event details including shift start and end times, project scope, and location can be found on our CatsConnect page. Registration for one-time events will open 3 weeks prior to the event on CatsConnect. 

Our Spring 2026 Weekend Wildcats will be:

  • Saturday, February 21
  • Saturday, March 14
  • Tuesday, March 31 - Cats in the Community
  • Saturday, April 11
  • Saturday, April 18
  • Saturday, April 25
  • Saturday, May 2

We love partnering with local programs and non-profit organizations to create meaningful one-time volunteer experiences for our students. If you're interested in collaborating with us to host a future Weekend Wildcat:
