Program Description
In this program, volunteers are placed in a K-5 classroom and assist teachers with day-to-day
instructional and classroom activities. Volunteer responsibilities vary depending on classroom and teacher placement, but may include supporting lessons, working with small groups of students, providing one-to-one assistance, and learning effective classroom management techniques.
This is a great fit for students who enjoy working with children and are interested in careers
related to education, child development, or youth services.
Location of Program:
School locations vary. Placements are determined based on your access to transportation and availability.
