Volunteer Information
Program Description
Through CAVE’s Tutoring Program, student volunteers provide small group tutoring in all subject areas for students from our local elementary-high schools. Tutoring sessions are held on the Chico State campus and emphasize varied instructional approaches, hands-on practice, and relationship-building to support academic growth and build student confidence.
Location of Program:
On Campus in the Bell Memorial Union 210
Days/Times:
The program runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 5:00-6:30 pm. All volunteers must be available for the full duration of each session.
Program Requirements:
Background check (free, conducted through Associated Students)
