Whereas, Education Code § 89921 states that each governing board and subboard shall annually establish, by resolution, bylaws, or whatever other rule is required for the conduct of business by that body, the time and location for holding regular meetings; and
Resolved, For the academic year of 2023-24, the Associated Students Facilities Committee meetings will be facilitated both in-person and via an online Zoom format. In-person meetings will be held in Bell Memorial Union 205 at 9 a.m. on the following dates:
- October 9 and 23, 2023
- November 6 and 27, 2023
- December 4, 2023
- January 29, 2024
- February 12 and 26, 2024
- March 11 and 25, 2024
- April 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2024
- May 6, 2024
Resolved, The Associated Students Facilities Committee will pass a similar resolution for each academic year by the first regularly scheduled meeting of the fall semester.
The Associated Students Facilities Committee (ASFC), formerly known as Bell Memorial Union Committee (BMUC), is a 10-member standing committee chaired by the AS Vice President of Facilities and Services consisting of seven students and three university-appointed non-students. This committee is responsible for establishing procedures and policies for the use of the Bell Memorial Union and all programs and services funded by the student union fee, including the Wildcat Recreation Center.
