Since 1984, Chico State students have been embarking on thrilling adventures, driven by a shared passion for the great outdoors. Thanks to the support of the Associated Students of CSU, Chico, Adventure Outings has grown into a vibrant outdoor recreation and education program for our students and the wider Chico community.
Adventure Outings has grown to host on-average 60 trips per year, and be home to several on-campus offerings including the Equipment Room at the Wildcat Recreation Center, the Climbing Wall, and the Bike Hub at the Bell Memorial Union.
This year, Adventure Outings is celebrating 40 years of adventuring together with Adventure Outings! Join us on Friday, December 6th for our 40th-anniversary reunion as we look back on four incredible decades, share stories, and honor everyone who has been part of our journey.

Alongside the screening, the evening will include a banquet dinner, an open bar, and a chance to connect with past and present members of our community. Adventure Outings current and previous program directors will also speak to the impact of the program, and its legacy within our community.
