Food Truck Onboarding

Welcome to the Associated Students Food Truck Onboarding site.

We appreciate your interest in doing business with the Associated Students of CSU, Chico (AS), and providing a high-quality food truck service to the Chico State community. To ensure we meet the expectations of our students, faculty, and staff and remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, we require the following items to be completed before a new vendor sells on campus.

Initial Requirements

  1. Fully executed Food Truck Service Agreement via Adobe Sign. If you have no employees and do not carry Worker's Compensation insurance, complete Attachment A (the last page).
  2. Submission and approval of insurance documents (see AS Insurance Requirements PDF)
  3. Submission of Payee Data Record (PDF attached)

To be reviewed during your first visit

  1. Current City of Chico Business License
  2. Butte County Health Permit for a Mobile Food Facility
  3. Review and approval of menu

Ongoing Requirements

  1. Abide by standards set forth in Food Truck Service Agreement
  2. Maintain insurance as stated in AS Insurance Requirements and submit new documents when needed

Food Truck | Documents and Submission

Once your agreement has been fully executed, the AS Risk Manager will reach out to you to collect your insurance documents. It can take several days for those to be prepared, so we recommend connecting with your insurance agent and providing the Insurance Requirements document found on this page soon to prevent delays in your ability to do business on campus.
